It warms my heart to see my daughter latching on to my childhood play toy, Puppy. She drags him around from room to room. His ears get a good tugging on daily. He never wimpers or barks, and he would never snap at her tiny hands. He is a good dog. He sleeps with her in her crib, and rides along in the car on trips. Puppy seems to dodge the snares of death and continues to live on in our home. (Click on the smaller pictures to enlarge them.)
