Every year we head up to Marion, Indiana for Thanksgiving and Christmas with Heather's extended family. This year Ailee discovered the meaning of Christmas, Presents! She caught on really fast to the concept of "get the paper of and get to the good stuff inside". She had so much fun opening her gifts she began to open other people's gifts. For example, the purse she is holding in the picture is not hers. she received some amazing gifts. Here are a few that have become instant favorites; her Greg, Julie, and Josh hit a grand slam with the Booh-Bah. Greg and Wanda struck it big with the Disney Tea Cup Set thingy. She had a great time with her cousin Hayden as you can see. They played with the magnetic letters and everything else. They certainly play nicer than the dogs. Thank you all for the gifts and for your love and prayers.
It's always a joy to be with Heather's family for this time. And we are especially grateful for the love and laughter we encounter with the Wolf's and the Kinnan's. And yes, Ailee does know the true meaning of Christmas. Every night she says in her own way, "Jesus, I love you". Then she follows that with, "Daddy, juice!"
