Even as I write this I can imagine how it must sound to broadcast on the Worldwide Web my daughter's fantastic feat. It started with her announcement to me that she "have poo-poo." I thought to myself that it might be a good time just to sit her on the throne and let nature take it's course. I was so proud. She looked me in the eye with that look of determination and she said, "Daddy...(with a growl and grunt) PUUUSSSHHHH!" And you better believe I was pushing. I was pushing for her and well, pushing for all toddlers around the world who seek to deposit waste somewhere other than their diaper. Before my eyes the smallest, yet boldest bit of pooh fell down. It quietly broke through into the water. There it sat. Ailee's first pooh in the potty. For our younger and weaker stomach audience I have distorted the picture and place "Potty Paper" in appropriate places. My little girl is embarking on her adventure to leave all diapers behind. Let us all be inspired by her perseverance! Carpe Diem!
