Friday, June 2nd at 7:40pm, Bella Rose Semple laid in her mother's arms. Weighing 8lbs and 12oz, she obviously didn't miss many meals from the umbilical buffet. Heather is my hero and continues to be the strongest and most beautiful soul I know. Bella was actually a name that we tossed around for our first daughter. It means 'beautiful'. And after searching around the internet I found that it also has Hebrew roots meaning 'God's promise'. What a fantastic combination! And Bella reminds us of God's beautiful promise.
Having two children will present certain challenges. However, it has made me all the more aware of our Creator's identity. He is love. Ailee is pretty fascinated with a "real" doll. She is a fabulous big sister. So the Semple family has added a new member, and she is welcomed and loved.

Congratulations!!! The picture of her all wrapped up is just heartbreakingly cute! Ailee looks so proud and happy- which is I'm sure how you both feel. Heather- e-mail me when you feel up to it and tell me all the deatails! She sure was big- was Ailee that big??? You're my hero, too!
