Christmas 2008

Ailee and Bella both received lamps with a revolving picture from their Great Aunt Gin. They watched the picture go around....and around...and around...and around...and around...and...
(please note that this is Bella "pre-haircut) ;-)

The girls went on a walk to the park with Bebe and Poppy. This was possible, of course, because we were in Kansas City...where it is NOT -15 degrees. Notice that Ailee is taking the dog with them so that he could make "deposits" in the yards of my parent's neighbors. Bella is taking her "dolly." She stopped periodically to reassure the baby that they were going "dis way."
If you had to watch Dora 20 times over...you would fall asleep to. "Forest...jungle...TALLEST MOUNTAIN! (blink, blink)
Ailee and her good friend Riley are best buddies. They LOVE each other and can't wait to get together when we visit KC. This is at the skating rink while we waited for the Zamboni to clear the ice. (I'll post a pic of me and my friend Stacy, Riley's mommy, when she hurries up and gets it to me...I love you Stac!)
Bella loves to be tickled!!!! She routinely says, "Tickle me!" Papa is obliging her wish...she has the most infectious giggle!
We went ice skating with family and some dear friends downtown in KC. Ailee got some ice skates for Christmas and fell in love with the ice rink!! Bella loved wearing the ice skates...but couldn't decide whether or not she liked the ice!
Bella is getting her first real haircut. She did great!! We had to do something with her hair because it was "stressing" her daddy...she looked a little like Mowgli from the jungle book.
This is Jeff and I at the skating rink. I still win the "coordinated" award after 9 years together. If he wants to dispute that...he can write the blog.
Bebe and Poppy made Christmas cookies with Ailee and Bella. Or...maybe Bebe made them while the girls decorated the dog with sprinkles??
Bella has her Nana and Papa wrapped around her fingers...literally. She has mom playing "All Around the Garden" on one hand and Dad is doing "This Little Piggy" on the other hand. That's my girl!!
