Easter Weekend

We had a couple of day off before Easter...so we took the kids to Eau Claire overnight. They swam in the pool...jumped on the beds...and walked through a giant stomach at the children's museum. Little sleep...but lots of fun!!

I also included some pics of the girls dying Easter eggs...and some futile attempts at getting them to smile in their Easter dresses...

We told Bella to "show us her teeth"...

What kind of mom makes their children look into the blinding sun just to get a picture?

Ailee worked very hard to make every egg unique. She works meticulously... and loves things with LOTS of color!!

Bella's method was a little different...

step 1: throw eggs into the colored water

step 2: take egg out of water and throw it into another color

step 3: repeat step 2 over and over until the shell disintegrates

You can decide which daughter takes after which parent...:-)

We are sitting on top of a HAND...strange sensation.

Bella made her own catepillar. She LOVE LOVE LOVES to glue things together...

Ailee worked the cash register in the general store. Who knew that a career in "cashiering" would be so attractive to a 6 year old...that's right...we aim high.
AGAIN...who knew.
This was the first time Bella had ever slept in a "big girl bed." Notice her eyes looking at Ailee...for the next 2 1/2 hours, Bella jumped up and down on the bed yelling, "I like to move it move it!!" And Ailee yelled, "MOM...Bella won't stop bothering me!!"
Ailee is a Daddy's girl for certain...they have a great time playing together! However, Bella...once again, is up to something...
