My Little Girl Isn't That Little Anymore...

My little girl isn't that little anymore.
She doesn't need my hand to climb the stairs.
She even turns the TV on all by herself.
Here she is with pigtails in her hair .
My little girl now sits in a big girl chair.
She says "NO" with a boom in her voice.
Then she takes a "time out" without any choice.
She runs and she plays and she says "Hi!" to
people she meets. My little girl is becoming
less dependent on me. Then just the other night
she climb up in my lap. With a book in her hand
and a request along with that. "Daddy" she whispered
with great anticipation. "Read boot" she asked
without hesitation. And so I began from the very start.
To read to my big girl who's never too big for my heart.
Daddy loves you, Ailee!

She is beautiful. I sent this picture out to everyone I know. Yeah...I felt like dad, oh well...she is amazing. I like her a lot. I explained to everyone that I am "that uncle" so I think they understood.

I was going to make sure you knew about one.org. But I see you already got it on the website.

By the way the yellow background with the white letters may be a little hard to read for some of the older eyes on this page. Just a thought.
