The morning routine in the Semple household begins when the alarm goes off. Heather turns to me and lets me know with an ever-so-gentle nudge. I then go a few paces into Ailee's room where she is usually awaiting my arrival. I say "Good morning and how are you" and she replies, "Daddy, up! Go see Mommy!" Okay, so I know my place in the order. I pick her up and hoist her over to the changing table where we bid farewell to her diaper. Then we march into our bedroom where Mommy is still tucked under blankets watching as the tiny bobbing head comes bouncing around to her side of the bed. Ailee climbs up onto the bed and then they snuggle so tight. My two little bedbugs!
